Delivery and Security for e-commerce
Challenge - Optimizing digital content delivery and strengthening the security posture protecting the e-commerce touchpoints of the Group's brands.
Our role - Selected by the OTB Group as system integrator for Akamai solutions - of which we are a partner - in the first phase of the collaboration we set up the services within the Client's information ecosystem, for the Delivery and Security areas. The core of our ongoing activity: maintenance and evolutionary management of both suites, in constant coordination with the in-house teams.
Result - A delivery and security ecosystem fully integrated into the Group's information system and continuously operational across all stores: Diesel, Maison Margiela, Marni and Jil Sander. We govern both suites in an evolutionary way, adapting them to business growth and the changing threat landscape, so that the performance and protection of e-commerce assets always remain aligned with the brands' needs.

Custom-made Clienteling App
Challenge - Providing Sales Associates with a tool capable of delivering outstanding service to the most exclusive clientele, through immediate, personalized insights that enable tailored recommendations and a premium brand experience. A tool for every boutique worldwide.
Our role - We developed a native iOS app, designed specifically for Loro Piana and fully integrated with the third-party services used by the Brand (e.g. Salesforce). The decision to pursue custom development stemmed from the need to adapt the tool to the business model - and not the other way around - and to allow its features to evolve continuously. The tool we designed puts a complete view of the customer in the hands of Sales Associates, along with their own sales KPIs and the means to independently manage communications, campaigns and orders - all from a single touchpoint.

Design and development of the World site
Challenge - Designing the new world.dolcegabbana.com portal, the Brand's main communication channel and gateway to fashion show streaming and special projects, with the goal of improving performance and ensuring scalability and security.
Our role - To meet the Client's needs, we redesigned the cloud infrastructure on AWS and handled the design and development of the site on WordPress, with a view to flexibility and continuous evolution of the portal. As part of the collaboration, we also took charge of developing the AWS infrastructure in China, as an official partner, from a technical, strategic and regulatory standpoint.
Result - A portal capable of withstanding traffic peaks - events, collection launches, special projects - and substantial media investments, without disruption. The architecture, built for flexibility, makes the Dolce&Gabbana team autonomous in managing and evolving the site, with performance and security levels significantly improved compared to the previous platform.
